2010 has been a truly wondrous year for me.

I had the best 21st birthday bash this year, with the best people in my life and the most beautiful birthday cake (designed by yours truly which i am so proud of, btw!). Didnt travel much this year, only to KK with A&A.. which screams, all the more I should put my other plans on hold for next year just to travel abit! Above it all, I think BB & I had a really great time this year. To Avalon with Aoki, Zoukout with Tiesto and so much more drunkard and 'i-dont-remember-what-happened' nights this year.. I am finally 21, and yes i can feel it in my bones. its our time right now and I wont stop screwing up, having shots on the bartop, getting high at night, dancing on speakers, never giving a fuck what anyone else has got to say, loving my family/bestfriends like crazy and making love to that same person for the past 6 years. yes.

I TRULY SUCK AT BIDDING.

Life has been really good to me recently..

Had an awesome trip to Ipoh, and been having the greatest time partying and chllin' with friends. Haha, let's just say.. Last Saturday night was the bomb, really had fun over at Timbre and Pump room afterwards. And also, Reggae night the following night with the usual suspects.

But financial problems can really be a pain, especially when you're an addict to an evil evil evil habit called shopping.

Dear Luluology, it's 2.30am and my room is still in a mess and I have'nt even start packing for tomorrow's 7.45am trip! We spent the first part of Friday night walking from home to Esso petrol station with Daisy hand-in-tassles with me and Bb pushing her. Like the fact that somehow after all these years, some things never change.. like, walking on the pavement along the main road with Daisy by our side and getting horrific weird stares from passers-by.. but still not having a care in the world and we'll be drowned by our random conversations about random things. Heh.. romantic, he said. Though, i hated the fact that of all nights I had, I chose that warm night to wear my pants and shoes and a denim jacket. I feel really driven lately, I hope the people at the airport that day will keep their word and ours too, and let October happen! Am really, really excited. And, I cant wait to get a birthday present for myself this year. I might also bake myself a birthday cake too!

Honestly, I kinda miss being in BKK. I dont know if I blogged about my trip there but it was hella good. Everything was random and somehow fell into place, well except for the part when we missed our flight back home. Haha, truly a life lesson. Sort of reminds me of our Malacca roadtrip. Im having the best chill-out Saturday ever, today. Got out of bed in the afternoon, went to pick up my new dress and that's when I remembered why my body repelled from going outdoors in broad daylight. I could feel myself shedding pounds already by only a 10mins drive. Went home, compounded myself with a room of 18degrees and a fan at highest speed.. and went to sleep! Woke up to an empty house, cooked dinner for myself and now Im watching 21 on HBO.

I was talking nonsense all the way back home, lying down at the carpark.. yasmin vomitting on the 2nd floor stairs haha! while talking on the fone with m*m*t and sal made maggie for us despite being also drunk and did not wake us up and left the maggie there and we all fell into a deep sleep. woke up, ate more maggie.. and spent the day together.

Good morning world earthlings! It's been abit depressing lately as we both somehow have holes in our pockets. this is what happens if you have been giving in to your sinful pleasures, constantly. I wanted to karaoke last night, but we could'nt..in case we need the $$$ for this coming days. So, we ended up window-shopping at tampines, it has been awhile since I went there. So many things up for sale, I hate Topshop now.. I believe Topshop is the root to all evil, at least for me. This sucks. I somtimes wish Im a cute plain-jane who wears jeans all the time and not some psycho who wears from shoulderpad-dresses to high waisted-pants with a huge flower or acessory on my head and lets not start with the shoes. But, you cant deny what you really love most right? For my case, its retail. Adam's 22nd birthday is coming up this friday, I really do hope my pay is in by then. Today is my turn to cook, so I fried crabmeat and sausage fried rice for our bekal. Cant wait to eat!

A new year, a new beginning?

Apart from the major turning point / biggest disappointment encounter I had, I honestly think that I did pretty good this year. I satisfied my parents with a Diploma cert, at least got myself a decent part-time job rather than bumming around and had lotsa crazy nights throughout this year. And yes, I experienced my first bike accident.. still in the process of getting over it. Had my first heartbreak, didnt see that coming though so it was abit hard. But I survived, not over it yet, but still moving on. I dont have any resolutions this year, I dont know why. I probably lost track of the time, before I knew it I was already at Timbre counting down the seconds to 2010. This year went really fast, this fast-paced life really creeps me out sometimes. But anyways, I do plan to continue working for now so I can continue travelling around the world, meet new people, experience new things and purely enjoying the simplicity of life. Just, chillax. Then, we'll see where we'll go from here..

I miss that particular nasi briyani from the Indian restaurant just along the street from where we stayed. I miss having to put on so many clothes, and not worrying of melting in my own perspiration as soon as Im out. I miss being stared at like Im some kind of alien (i guess theres not that many Asians living there). I miss shopping like crazy! I miss walking along the streets filled with stores like Desigual Zara Pull&Bear instead of walking in a shopping mall. I miss wearing boots and stockings every single bloody, cold day! Ahhh, I miss it.

Barcelona was my least favourite place to be, for my European vacation..

but I dont regret going there. In fact, I would love to go there again!

Heading to work today was pretty random.

So, here I was rushing for time.. anticipating for the bus to arrive, and I had a very old lady sitting beside me at the bus stop who cant seem to stop touching and praising on how good my bag looks? hehe as sweet as she is, I was afterall late for work and I had Bb on the line blabbing about something I couldnt remember. I thought my last day of this month was gonna be a disaster, that was when I got another call from Bb just as I board the bus. and guess what? Bb and some of his boys from school were cruising around cos Azaad was using his dad's car and he offered me a ride to work! Super sweet or what! So Thank God I wasnt late for work! And Im giving myself a pat in the back for I've made it to work everyday without being late this month, and not even bumming out a single day with MC! Yippiee!

So, I regard this upcoming 2 days off as a present from work! Alhamdullilah!

anyway, HELLO EVERYONE. its been awhile aye.

Have been so busy with work and life, i havent actually been spending much time at home nowadays. i miss my family and our days out together on weekends, really. i missed out on the Father's Day dinner with the whole fam clan on sunday night, with my baby cousins grandparents aunts uncles. so sad :(

but other than that, despite feeling mentally and physically exhausted after work, im beginning to like it alot. the people are great, so far. but i might be changing jobs soon. and yes, so many upcoming plans ahead next month! There's so many things one could miss about being in Paris..

The lights, atmosphere, smell of coffee, the presence of strip clubs and that particular transversite I'd bump into almost daily. Watched a documentary on the final years of Judy Garland's life..

I personally, think that the singers from that era was super amazing.

I watched a few live performances by her on tv, she almost drove me to tears.

I cant imagine watching her live. I think Ill prolly drown.

She sang so whole-heartedly, its like I could almost feel the sadness and despair in her life.

i just have this sudden urge of word-vomit for the past few hours..

i was reading Philip Toledano's 'Day's with my father' awhile ago.

It's seriously deep and heartfelt, i dont know how to describe it but its a mixture of alot of emotions. sometimes, i wonder how long more will i get to live my life? will i get to live enough to see my children grow? will i even have children? is he the one?

Why cant S'pore be a lil more stress-free?

I wish my life is free as a bird.. where i can sit all day, go for a random holiday, write a book or just self-employ myself with stuff i enjoy doing..

Last Saturday was pretty crazy and impromptu (hah, whats new?)

Had dinner at town with Bb and the folks at Canelle and then, headed down to Timbre with Bedhead & Sham. Bought 2 Erdingers and then went out to help Man mang finish his bottle and went back in.. and had a coupla shots (courtesy of Bedhead)!!!

After which, all of us were hooked to blowing bubbles in Timbre..

Haha, like that was'nt fun enough?

We headed to Zouk, Dbl o and finally settled in Chijmes after much thought.

And of all songs, the band played 'Come on Eileen' and 'November rain' which was so freaking awesome, i cannot take it! I had goosebumps all over still, after they finished playing.

And the DJ after that had to play 'Stir it up' as the final song,

omg i cant wait for next Sunday already!

Omg, this blog is getting so boring. im gonna change to a new address soon, nyahaha!

I havent showered for 2 days? So I dont think anyone can imagine how sick and stinky I am.. what more with the crazy hot weather. Thank God air-con exists. Mmm.. its been quite awhile, and I've lotsa things to say, update and stuff like that but life has been too hectic and fun for me to even drop a simple entry here.. and as for now, I am gonna continue sorting my clothes, shoes, bags out of my teeny weeny closet and somehow find more space for convenient purposes.. and im in a moving-the-furniture-around-in-my-room kinda mood today, so ill be doing just that with the music blasting in my ears till they pop.. anything call my hamburger okay! salut'!
