If there's one thing I love about this boy, it would be his exceptional taste in movies..
which is in fact, truly similar as mine. He would never watch any type of movie which involves any kind of animation or lampoon. And as much as I hate to admit it, I have been furthermore influenced by him and have also developed such disinterest towards movies like that too (besides old Disney's classics like Cinderella etc of course!). I really think movies like The Prestige, Blindness, The Forgotten etc are far more worthy of my money compared to animated or bimbotic high-school or spoof movies.. After every good movie followed by conversations filled with deep thoughts and sometimes opposing viewpoints,
I never fail to thank God that I've met my match.
So, the reason for me to randomly spill this (possibly) biased paragraph is because.. we have just watched a remarkable movie by Will Smith, a few days ago. Seven pounds. Still cant get over the fact that a person, just like me, could come up with such an amazing plot.
So here's a review by someone that you may find useful before watching the movie,
"The movie starts really haphazardly with short scenes from everwhere, not
unlike the first few episodes of Heroes. It was also a tad bit slow for the
first 15-20 minutes But if you could seat thru that, you'll be rewarding with a
touching story. Story abt a guy who chooses random strangers and wants to give
them a 'gift' but before he does so, he ensures that his receipients deserve his
'gift'. "
Deal with it
